Whippoorwills and Robins

Again, we venture into the ponderings of an Everyday Guy.  I admit it...I am a country music fan and have listened to many many of those "lovelorn" songs through the years.  Today, one of the songs on my mind tells about whippoorwills and robins.

(Clearing my throat)  Here goes...

"Hearing that lonesome whippoorwill, He sounds too blue to fly. The midnight train is whining low, I'm so lonesome I could cry.
Did you ever see a robin weep, when leaves begin to die.  That means he's lost the will to live, I'm so lonesome I could cry."
Wow, talk about depressing...I suppose Mondays can do that to people.  Trust me when I say I've had my share of the Monday blues, but I praise God today is not one of them.

Here's why...

Jesus said, "Come unto me all who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest..." Matthew 11:28

No need to have the blues when we have the comfort and strength of Christ.

Have a great day!
